A Revived 120-Year-Old Austin Farmhouse
Interior designer Claire Zinnecker spotted this 1898 Victorian farmhouse on Facebook Marketplace and knew it had to be hers. The dilapidated house in the middle of Texas had plenty of potential with its expansive size and high ceilings, so Claire spent three years reviving the home. She rescued antique sinks, salvaged old windows, and even discovered some preserved newspapers from the 1930s hidden beneath the linoleum. With the decor, she embraced vintage and reclaimed pieces, bringing a nostalgic charm to the home.

A Modern Farmhouse-Style Home in Bangalow
In an ideal world, a large family calls for a large home, and Aimee Winchester realised her vision of contemporary family living with the creation of her modern farmhouse-style abode in Bangalow.
The home's interior has a decidedly calm vibe to it with its pared-back furnishings and dialled-down colour palette – the perfect antidote to a busy household. Each room delivers lashings of elegance and functionality for the young family.
The farm-style kitchen is an entertainer's dream with soaring ceilings and an abundance of space not only for cooking but for the family to hang out in. Here, beautiful sage-toned joinery brings subtle colour into the space.

Edwina Bartholomew's Luxury Farmhouse Retreat
TV presenter Edwina Bartholomew enlisted the help of architects Studio Esteta to completely gut this sandstone home in Sydney's Greater Blue Mountains region and transform it into a minimalist, yet cosy, hideaway.
Swathed in neutral tones, and outfitted with a mix of modern and antique pieces, the overarching aesthetic feels warm, comfortable and lived-in – no wonder Bartholomew, and all of her many Airbnb guests, love staying there.

A Spanish-Inspired Farmhouse in the Byron Bay Hinterland
Entrepreneur Emma Lane's sprawling property dubbed The Range, in the Byron Bay Hinterland, is set on 120 acres of land and boasts idyllic views of rolling hills and gorgeous coastline. The property leans into a Spanish farmhouse aesthetic with exposed beams, stucco walls, arches, natural materials, and a warm, neutral colour palette.
Every space in this home is worthy of a feature in any high-end home magazine, but the living room, which is Emma's favourite, is the showstopper. In this open-plan space, a large stone fireplace sits in front of a spectacular conversation pit which is positioned to take advantage of the sweeping Byron Bay Hinterland views.

An Interior Designer's Luxury Barn in Country Victoria
With no doors – except for those leading to the pod bathroom – this home, conceived by interior designer Lynda Gardener, is designed to be open and inviting, with plenty of light and airflow to promote relaxation.
“Light, bright and calm to the eyes,” Gardener explains of her thought process when designing the interior. Big windows look out over pastures, and barn-style doors open at the front and the rear of the building into the garden. All the furniture, from the cosy, linen-upholstered bed to the low couches in the living space, was chosen to be close to the ground.

An Artist's Farmhouse Shack in Byron Bay
Fringed by greenery, the home and studio of Jordana Henry is full of golden Northern Rivers light, which pours through French doors overlooking the house’s wide deck. Most of the home is open plan, with a mint green-tiled kitchen flowing easily into the dining and living areas.
The living area is minimally decorated yet warm with a velvet, mustard-toned sofa taking centre stage. The retained vaulted ceiling and exposed timber beams bring drama to the room and make it feel airy and spacious.
