10 New TV Shows That Are Worth the Hype This February
From a series adaptation of cult classic film 'The ‘Burbs' to returning seasons of 'Bridgerton', 'Paradise', and even 2000s medical bromance, 'Scrubs', there’s plenty to get hyped about this month.
Remaking much-loved Hollywood classics is a dangerous game, but every now and then, an adaptation comes along and gets it right. This month, that adaptation is The ‘Burbs, starring the ever-charming Keke Palmer.
If nostalgia nods are your thing, this Feb, JD and Turk dust off their stethoscopes 16 years after we last saw them laugh and cry their way through shifts at The Sacred Heart in a Scrubs revival.
Or if mystery thrillers are more your speed, returning seasons of The Last Thing He Told Me and The Night Agent arrive, alongside new series Vanished and 56 Days.
Need to know more? Here are 10 new series worth all the hype this February.
1. American Love Story
Where can I watch it? On Disney+
From The Assassination of Gianni Versace to The People v. O.J. Simpson and Bill Clinton’s Impeachment, Ryan Murphy’s ‘American Crime Story’ series is a masterclass in the dramatisation of pop culture history. This time he’s trading crime for romance, retracing the tumultuous, trendsetting, and ultimately tragic relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette that plastered the covers of gossip mags in the 90s. From a chic chapel wedding in Georgia to the plane crash that stopped the nation, nothing is off the table.
2. Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2
Where can I watch it? On Netflix
Just a few weeks after the release of Season 4 Part 1, another slew of Bridgerton episodes are set to satiate your lust for all things Lady Whistledown. Part 2 will continue to tell the love story absolutely no one saw coming, including Benedict himself. Struck by cupid at mum’s masquerade, the second eldest Bridgerton falls for Sophie Baek, a striking woman in silver who also turns out to be a maid. Surely no one in the British aristocracy will have any problem with that whatsoever.
