1. Andor: Season 2
Where Can I Watch It? On Disney+
Whether you’re a diehard Star Wars fan or completely new to the franchise, Andor is a grittier, more grounded addition to the galactic canon. Diego Luna’s standout performance as Cassian Andor is a nuanced and quietly gripping portrayal of a man slowly drawn into rebellion. A prequel to the events of Rogue One, this is the second and final installment of the critically acclaimed series, so you’ve still got time to binge season one before season two drops on April 22. Layered with espionage, moral ambiguity, and some of the best writing in the galaxy, Andor feels more like prestige television than space opera.

2. Black Mirror: Season 7
Where Can I Watch It? On Netflix
Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed anthology series returns with six new episodes, continuing its unflinching exploration of themes like AI, virtual realities, and futuristic technology and their (often disturbing) impact on society. Excitingly for long-time viewers, this series will include the first sequel to a previous episode, season four’s USS Callister, picking up after the events of the original. As always, prepare to feel unsettled, enthralled, and existentially rattled as the darkly comedic sci-fi stories take you to stranger-than-fiction places.

3. The Bondsman
Where Can I Watch It? Prime Video
Kevin Bacon has never been one to shy away from a delightfully unhinged role, and that rings true for the new series, The Bondsman. In this action/horror/thriller hybrid, he plays Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter who's back from the dead after being resurrected by the Devil – just casually. Amid the fantasy and chaos, there are themes of redemption and reckoning, as he reconnects with his estranged family and comes to terms with the life he led – and the one he’s been dragged back into.

4. Doctor Who: Season 2
Where Can I Watch It? BBC iPlayer
The upcoming season of Doctor Who is either Season 2, Season 15 or Season 40, depending on whether you’re counting from the current iteration, the show's 2005 modern reboot or all the way back to its black-and-white beginnings in 1963. Ncuti Gatwa stepped into the TARDIS as the Fifteenth Doctor in 2024, and has since been delighting longtime Whovians and winning over curious newcomers alike with his charisma, chaos, and killer outfits. We're prepped for more mind-bending time travel, unexpected guest stars, and a fresh era of storytelling.

5. Dying for Sex
Where Can I Watch It? Disney+
Inspired by a true story, Dying for Sex follows Molly, played by Michelle Williams, who finds out she is living with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. After her diagnosis, Molly leaves her husband to explore herself and her desires in all their complexity for the first time in her life. With her ride-or-die best friend Nikki (Jenny Slate) by her side, she embarks on an adventure, checking things off her proverbial bucket list as she goes.

6. Étoile
Where Can I Watch It? Prime Video
Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is back with a new show, Étoilé. While it’s sure to have her signature whip-smart dialogue and eccentric characters, this series looks like it’ll have less coffee-fuelled quips and more hard-hitting drama, this time from the high-pressure world of ballet. Étoilé isn’t Sherman-Palladino’s first foray into dance-centric storytelling, having created the 2010s cult comedy Bunheads. Taking that and adding a dose of intensity, rivalry, and creative tension, the series follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies.

7. Government Cheese
Where Can I Watch It? Apple TV+
Set in sunny California in 1969, Government Cheese is a surrealist comedy that follows the eccentric Chambers family as they chase their dreams while wrestling with the realities of life. When Hampton Chambers (David Oyelowo) is released from prison, he expects a heartfelt reunion – but instead finds a family that has evolved without him. His wife Astoria (Simone Missick) and their two sons have eased into an unconventional rhythm in his absence, and Hampton’s return throws it all off balance. Through offbeat humour, the series explores the tension between ambition, redemption, and the strange beauty of family life.

8. Hacks: Season 4
Where Can I Watch It? NOW
The Emmy-winning comedy Hacks returns for its fourth season, and the power dynamic between legendary stand-up Deborah Vance (played by the iconic Jean Smart) and her sharp-tongued millennial writing partner Ava (Hannah Einbinder) has never been more charged. As Deborah’s star continues to rise, tensions flare between the duo as personal ambition, creative control, and past grudges threaten their hard-won partnership. It's easy to see why viewers keep coming back for more clever dialogue and emotional depth in this biting take on the entertainment industry. Get ready for more musings on fame, friendship, and the nuance of evolving as a person – both on stage and off.

9. PULSE
Where Can I Watch It? Netflix
Who doesn’t love a good medical drama? Set against the chaos of a Miami hospital during a deadly hurricane, Pulse is an emotionally intense medical drama that explores what happens when personal lives and professional duties collide under extreme pressure. The series follows Dr. Danny Simms (played by Willa Fitzgerald), a third-year resident unexpectedly thrust into the role of Chief after her mentor, Dr. Xander Phillips, is suspended. As the storm traps staff and patients inside the hospital, tensions rise, secrets surface, and Danny must navigate both the medical emergencies unfolding around her and the complicated past she shares with Xander.

10. Ransom Canyon
Where Can I Watch It? Netflix
This character-driven drama set in rural Texas follows Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel), a rugged rancher grappling with personal loss while trying to protect the land that’s been in his family for generations. When his childhood friend and local dance hall owner Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly), reenters his life, old feelings resurface – just as tensions between three powerful local families reach a boiling point. As a mysterious outsider arrives in town, past wounds are reopened, and the future of Ransom Canyon hangs in the balance. If you're looking for some drama and romance, this show is a slow-burn saga about loyalty, love, and the price of legacy.

11. The Handmaid's Tale: Season 6
Where Can I Watch It? Prime Video
The Handmaid’s Tale returns for its sixth and final season, bringing the dystopian saga to a long-awaited climax. With the traumatised but tenacious former handmaid June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) now reunited with Serena and baby Noah, the fight against Gilead enters a volatile new phase. As shifting alliances form and long-standing power structures fracture, June must decide how far she’s willing to go – and what kind of future she’s really fighting for. Season 6 promises a reckoning years in the making, where survival, justice, and resistance collide for one last stand.

12. The Last Of Us: Season 2
Where Can I Watch It? NOW
Picking up five years after the events of Season 1, the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic thriller The Last of Us returns with a darker, more emotionally charged second chapter. Joel and Ellie have found a fragile sense of peace in the safe haven of Jackson, Wyoming – but the ghosts of their pasts aren’t easily buried. A new threat emerges and tensions rise, forcing Ellie to confront the truth about what happened at the Firefly hospital, and what it means for her future. Expanding the world and deepening its emotional stakes, Season 2 looks to be a gripping exploration of grief, vengeance, and the price of survival in a bleak world.

13. You: Season 5
Where Can I Watch It? Netflix
The psychological thriller You returns for its fifth and final season, before Joe Goldberg hangs his baseball cap up for good and his twisted journey comes full circle. Back in New York City where it all began, Joe is trying to leave his murderous past behind – but old habits die hard. As he attempts to build a new life, his former obsessions, unfinished business, and dangerous secrets inevitably resurface, threatening to unravel the carefully curated persona he's constructed. With the walls closing in, Joe is forced to confront the truth about who he really is – and whether redemption is even possible.

14. Your Friends & Neighbours
Where Can I Watch It? Apple TV+
Featuring Jon Hamm back in a leading role, Your Friends & Neighbours is a slick new dramedy that peels back the glossy surface of suburban life to reveal what really happens behind closed doors. A timely series in a recent run of small-screen class satires, this time we’re invited into an affluent New York enclave where a recently divorced and out of work hedge fund manager turns to an unlikely outlet: petty theft. As secrets simmer across the neighbourhood, the show explores privilege, identity, and the quiet desperation that hides behind curated perfection.
